About Me!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself so you know who is recommending books to you!

My name is Jessica and I am a library assistant at the Groton Public Library. I have been working there in the circulation department for almost 4 years. I have my undergraduate degree in library science and I am in my second year of grad school working on my MLIS (Master of Library & Information Science).

I (obviously) read a lot of young adult literature. I read just about anything if it is a YA book. I do read adult books too - you can see everything I read by following me on:
Jessica's book recommendations, liked quotes, book clubs, book trivia, book lists (read shelf)

Only thing I probably don't read a lot of is Westerns. Anything else is fair game, from science fiction to mysteries, realistic fiction to fantasy - I like it all!

I welcome suggestions for this blog & any books you think I should read. Comments are appreciated - tell me what you thought of my review, your own thoughts on the book, or if you are now going to read it!

Little more random facts about me:
* My favorite color is
lime green.
* I am from the great state of Nebraska (
GO BIG RED!)
* Aside from being an avid reader, I enjoy watching movies/tv series
* Hobbies include bowling & letterboxing
* I am in my twenties and happily married
* I have known I wanted to be a librarian since I was in 4th grade & set up my own lending library for the kids in my class
* I am an extremely picky eater and that which I do not like, I am probably allergic to
* I am a terrible cook but I am trying to learn

Here is a legend for my ratings:
